Students who transfer to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln can maximize the credits they’ve already earned and continue to move their future forward. Transferring Credit to Nebraska

Many students at Nebraska have credits from more than one institution, and we accept postsecondary credits earned at regionally-accredited colleges and universities. We encourage you to explore course equivalents between Nebraska and other institutions.

Military Education and Benefits

Nebraska understands the experiences and academic paths of current and former military members. From in-state tuition rates to an application fee waiver, Nebraska offers benefits and resources to those who have served.

Tuition and Scholarships

At Nebraska, you can prepare for your dream job at an exceptional value with the lowest tuition in the Big Ten. Additionally, transfer students may be eligible for scholarships based on academic achievements at previous institutions. You can be admitted to Nebraska and receive most academic scholarships with your GPA alone.

Attend Nebraska Tuition-Free

If you are a Nebraska resident with a family income of $65,000 or less (Adjusted Gross Income) or Pell Grant-eligible, you may qualify to attend Nebraska tuition-free through the Nebraska Promise.
